Edinburgh International Trauma Symposium: 15 to 17 August 2012

This year’s subject areas include the treatment of major trauma, pelvic and acetabular fractures, the growing problem of fragility fractures and the management of the elderly trauma patient. In addition, advances in the treatment of fractures of the ankle, scaphoid and distal femur, and the management of open tibial fractures will be discussed (Download Programme).

Edinburgh International Trauma Instructional Course: 13 to 17 August 2012

This popular course provides education in orthopaedic trauma for surgeons in training, senior orthopaedic nurses and senior physiotherapists. It is also useful for experienced orthopaedic surgeons who wish to update their knowledge of orthopaedic trauma. The level of the course is particularly useful for surgeons preparing for their orthopaedic fellowship examinations (Download Programme).
