Rolfe Birch London, UK

Rolfe Birch is Professor of Orthopaedic Neurological Surgery in the Centre of Academic Orthopaedics at University College London. He is also a consultant surgeon in the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.  He is one of the world's outstanding peripheral nerve surgeons and has contributed extensively to many aspects of research into peripheral nerve surgery. He is also editor-in-chief of the Journal of Brachial Plexus and Peripheral Nerve Injury.

Axel Gänsslen is Oberärzte in the Unfallchirurgische Klinik in Hannover, Germany. He has written extensively on the treatment of multiply injured patients. He is also a leading authority of the treatment of pelvic and acetabular fractures.

 

Clifford Jones Michigan, USA

Clifford Jones is an orthopaedic surgeon with the Orthopaedic Associates of Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA and an associate professor at Michigan State University. He has extensive experience of the management of orthopaedic trauma and is a leading authority on femoral intramedullary nailing.

 

Markus Kuster St Galen, Switzerland

Markus Kuster is a Professor of Surgery at the Klinik fur Orthopaedische Chirurgie und Traumatologie des Bewegungsapparates in St Galen, Switzerland. He has interests in reconstructive and trauma surgery and has recently written papers on calcaneal fractures, locking plates and hip arthroplasty.

 

Sune Larsson Uppsala, Sweden

Sune Larsson is a Professor of Orthopaedic surgery at the University of Uppsala in Sweden. He has written on many aspects of orthopaedic trauma but recently has undertaken research into clavicle fractures, orthobiologics and fragility fractures.

 

Mike McKee Toronto, Canada

Mike McKee is an orthopaedic surgeon in St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto and a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Toronto. He has wide interests in orthopaedic trauma but recently has written papers on upper limb fractures and orthobiologic agents.

 

Steffen Ruchholtz Giessen & Marburg, Germany

Steffen Ruchholtz is Director of the department of accident and reconstructive surgery at the University of Giessen and Marburg in Germany. He has a major interest in the management of multiple injures and has also written on the treatment of many fractures.

 

Patrick Weniger Vienna, Austria

Patrick Weninger works in the Lorenz Böhler Trauma Centre in Vienna, Austria. He has undertaken a number of studies in the field of multiple injury and has written on polytrauma, gunshot injuries and the management of different fractures.

 

Bruce Ziran Ohio, USA

Bruce Ziran is associate professor of orthopaedic surgery in Northeastern Ohio Universities College of medicine and is Director of St. Elizabeth's Health Center in Ohio, USA. He has contributed extensively to the orthopaedic literature and has a particular expertise in the treatment of osteomyelitis.
