Accommodation in Edinburgh is at a premium in the busy summer season, so early booking is strongly advised.

Pollock Halls University Campus AccommodationA special Conference Package is available of single and twin room en-suite accommodation including full breakfast on the Edinburgh University’s Pollock Halls Campus, for 3 days (for Symposium delegates) or 5 days (for Instructional Course delegates), with transport each morning to the venue. The Campus is located 1 mile (1.5km) from the centre beside the spectacular Holyrood Park.  TV in lounge within complex. Please note that this accommodation is not suitable for family use. The rates for these packages are £145 single room, £250 superior twin room for the 3-day Symposium package (12 to 14 August); or £240 single room, £430 superior twin room for the 5-day instructional Course package (10 to 14 August). Please note that bookings will only be allocated on receipt of payment, on a first-come-first serve basis.

4-6 Alvaney Terrace, 15 mins walk to Venue  (or short bus journey) This hotel offers modern standards and a very warm welcome. There is on-street parking

Novotel, Edinburgh
- Lauriston Place -10 mins walk -   A "New Generation" modern hotel featureing stylish contemporary design, comfortable spacious rooms and wonderful leisure facilities including an indoor pool. Located in the heart of the city near the Grassmarket, minutes walk from Edinburgh Castle and Princes Street. Car parking available at rate of £10.

Carlton Hotel
- 19 North Bridge - 15 mins walk - One of Edinburgh's most prestigious hotels, it offers traditional comforts in contemporary surroundings. Spacious en-suite rooms all with satellite television, wireless interenet access and tea/coffee facilities. On site is the Body Sense gymn, offering guests a swimming pool, steam room and spa facilities. The hotel has 24 hours room service and limited valet parking at a rate of £15 for 24 hours.

Jurys Inn Edinburgh
Jeffrey Street - 20 minutes walk -Located in the centre of Edinburgh, adjacent to the historic Royal Mile and Princes Street. Spacious comfortable en-suite rooms offer modern-day conveniences. Off site car parking at £8.80 per 24 hours.

Fountain Court Appartments
- 123 Grove Street , 10 mins walk   Accommodation provided in a secure environment with CCTV, entry phone, electric gates and lift to all floors. Each apartment has a lounge with dining area, modern fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher washing machine / drier, and bathrooms with bath & shower. Lounge / dining area has comfortable sofas, cable TV and direct-dial phone. Everything from bed linen & towels to wine glasses and hairdryer is provided. Initial starter pack of oven fresh baker’s loaf, preserves, butter, breakfast cereals, fresh milk, tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits is provided on arrival. All rates quoted are per room, per night and include full Scottish breakfast and 17.5% VAT. The locations of the hotels are all central.
